Elf, by Sunday! The first novella that I picked up was Married by Midnight by Talli Roland. Talli has been one of my favourite authors since she published her first novel so it was a no-brainer that I would pick this one up first.
Married by Midnight tells the story of Kate, who is busy planning her wedding. Or is she? Unwilling to admit that she is having second thoughts about her upcoming nuptials, she begins obsessing about the note that she found pinned to the inside of the vintage 1930's wedding dress that she purchased to walk down the aisle in. Will Kate find the original owner of the dress and find out the story behind it? Will she be forced to look at her own situation in a new way?
I always enjoy Talli Roland's holiday novellas. They are sweet and fun and romantic and Married by Midnight was no exception! The character of Kate is easy to like, even though she starts out by being a pushover. Kate's mother and sister are great supporting characters and the story itself was well-written. I loved it, and my only wish is that it wouldn't have ended! I always wish that Talli's novellas are full-length novels because I don't want them to end!
Talli has generously offered me two eCopies of Married by Midnight to give away! I'm doing something a little different this time.
